About Chef Danyea

Passion turned into Power.

Our Chef Danyea is a Culinary graduate from California Culinary Academy of San Francisco in 2009. She had no idea becoming a Chef would be so essential to maintaining her health. At 15 years old, Danyea was diagnosed with Lupus SLE and Chronic Kidney Disease. With a challenging health journey , it did not stop her from pursuing her dreams. She became a business owner at just 18, has worked in fine dining, upscale senior living, and as a Cooking Instructor.  In her own words, “When I was a teenager I had the privilege to travel around Europe with a group of other teens and teachers I wasn’t too acquainted with.  On that trip , every day, every meal we sat together trying new things in different countries. Everyone has to eat and it brought us together. It was in that moment I realized that food was the international language I understood, and I knew without a doubt I wanted to be a Chef. “ There’s love and light put into everything she creates.
